For the past ten years I’ve been blessed with a career in therapeutic
massage. During that time I have touched over 7000 people.
Every unique body has its lesson and from each session I gain new insights
about providing a therapeutic presence. Please allow me to
facilitate a relaxing and effective session for you. Intention,
Knowledge, and Skill are the key elements of any therapy. I invite spirit
to guide my intentions while knowledge and skill anchor my practice.
Eastern and Western massage
techniques are combined to tailor the most effective massage for you.
Swedish, Deep tissue, Sports, Acupressure, Reflexology, Shiatsu, Esalen,
Lomi Lomi, and Energy Work are some of the techniques in which I am
trained. An understanding of Human Anatomy, Physiology, Kinesiology,
Oriental theory (Chi) and Vedic philosophies (Chakras) are guiding
principles in my work. Tranquil music and aroma therapy enhance each session.
While hands may be a masseurs
most important tools many other body parts are useful: Forearms,
knees and the heals of both hands and feet are used to deliver broad deep
pressure to groups of muscles; Elbows, knuckles, thumbs and heals
are used to deliver deeper more localized pressure.
Have you experienced the
relaxing power of moist heat? Your massage room is equipped with a
Hydrocollator . This is a moist pad heating unit that is used by Physical
and Massage Therapist to prepare muscles for more effective treatment.
Your lotions and oils are also heated. Your treatment takes place on
a professional table with clean linens and a comfortable face cradle.
Appointments are scheduled far
apart. This way you get plenty of undivided attention and never feel
rushed. Rates are affordable and incentives are given for repeat
clientele.
Massage instruction is available to couples or Professional Massage
Therapists who wish to improve their touch.
